Huawei Nova 14 series with Harmony OS 5, 5,500 mAh battery announced: Price, specifications

Huawei has launched its latest Nova 14 series smartphones in China, consisting of the Nova 14 Ultra, Nova 14 Pro, and Nova 14. All three smartphones run on HarmonyOS 5.0 out of the box and house 5,500mAh battery units that support 100W fast charging. The Huawei Nova 14 Ultra and Pro smartphones come with a 50MP RYYB variable aperture primary camera and dual selfie cameras. The Huawei Nova 14 Ultra also has a 50MP RYYB periscope telephoto sensor and has an IP68+IP69-rated build for improved dust and water resistance.

Huawei Nova 14 series: Price

The Huawei Nova 14 Ultra is available for CNY 4,199 (around Rs 49,000) for the 256GB storage model. The 512GB and 1TB storage models are priced at CNY 4,499 (around Rs 53,000) and CNY 4,999 (around Rs 59,000), respectively. Meanwhile, the Huawei Nova 14 Pro costs CNY 3,499 (around Rs 41,000) for the base 256GB model and CNY 3,799 (around Rs 44,000) for the 512GB model.

The Huawei Nova 14 is priced at CNY 2,699 (around Rs 32,000) for the 256GB model and CNY 2,999 (around Rs 35,000) for the 512GB storage model. All three smartphones are currently available for purchase in China via Vmall.

Starting with the Nova 14 Ultra, it comes with a 6.81-inch Full-HD+ LTPO AMOLED display with up to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and 300Hz touch sampling rate. In contrast, the Huawei Nova 14 Pro gets a 6.78-inch screen, while the Nova 14 comes with a 6.7-inch screen.

The Nova 14 Ultra and 14 Pro have a quad rear camera setup. The Nova 14 Ultra offers a 50MP RYYB primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP RYYB periscope telephoto camera with 3.7x optical zoom, a 13MP RYYB ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 1.5MP multispectral colour sensor. On the other hand, the Nova 14 Pro has a 50MP RYYB main sensor with OIS, a 12MP RYYB telephoto portrait lens with OIS, and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle macro lens. The Huawei Nova 14 has a triple camera rear unit that includes a 50MP RYYB sensor, a 12MP RYYB telephoto portrait sensor with OIS, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle macro lens.

The Nova 14 Ultra and Nova 14 Pro offer dual selfie cameras – a 50MP portrait lens and an 8MP front zoom camera. Meanwhile, the Nova 14 has a single 50MP selfie shooter. All three models come with 5,500 mAh battery with 100W charging support.
