HP launches OmniBook 5 and 3 series with next-gen AI features, price starts at Rs 69,999

HP has launched its new OmniBook 5 and OmniBook 3 series laptops in India, expanding its AI PC lineup for mainstream users. The laptops are aimed at students, professionals, and everyday users who want on-device AI capabilities without a premium price tag. The OmniBook 5 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus processor, while the OmniBook 3 series features AMD’s Ryzen AI 300 processors. Both models are available through HP’s online and offline retail channels.

HP OmniBook 5 and 3 series: Features
The HP OmniBook 5 features a 14-inch 2K OLED display and is powered by the Snapdragon X Plus X1-26-100 processor. The chip’s integrated NPU supports up to 45 TOPS of AI compute, enabling features like Windows Studio Effects for video calls and HP’s AI Companion for system optimization. HP claims the OmniBook 5 offers up to 34 hours of battery life, the longest in its class.

The OmniBook 3 series comes in 14-inch and 15.6-inch variants. Both models are powered by AMD Ryzen AI 300 processors and feature integrated NPUs capable of up to 50 TOPS. These laptops include a Full HD display, dual microphones with AI noise reduction, HP Audio Boost 2.0, and multiple ports including USB-C, USB-A, and HDMI.

All models support Microsoft’s Copilot features with a dedicated Copilot key for quick access to generative AI tools. The devices also feature AI enhancements for virtual meetings and system performance. HP has used recycled and ocean-bound plastics in key components, with all models meeting EPEAT Gold and ENERGY STAR certifications.

The HP OmniBook 5 14-inch is priced starting at Rs 75,999. The HP OmniBook 3 14-inch and 15.6-inch models are both priced from Rs 69,999. All variants are available in Glacier Silver.
