Adobe is expanding its lineup of partner AI models in its photo and video editing tools, as the company has announced the integration of the Nano Banana Pro AI model in Photoshop and Firefly. It becomes part of a set of AI partner models across image, video, and audio available in the apps from Adobe, including those from Black Forest Labs, ElevenLabs, Google, Ideogram, Luma AI, Moonvalley, OpenAI, Pika, Runway and Topaz Labs. Moreover, the company has also announced unlimited AI image generation till December 1 to paid subscribers.
Adobe brings Nano Banana Pro into Firefly and PhotoshopThrough a press release, Adobe has announced the integration of Nano Banana Pro, which is powered by Gemini 3, into Photoshop and Firefly image editing tools. This move fulfils Adobe's commitment to bringing top industry models, including the recently announced Firefly Image Model 5, to its users as soon as they launch, providing creators more freedom to pick the model that fits their task.
The company has also revealed that Creative Cloud Pro and Firefly plan subscribers will receive unlimited image generations using Firefly image models and third-party models till December 1. Adobe stated that in the Firefly app, using the Nano Banana Pro’s text-to-image feature allows users to brainstorm, organise ideas, and visualise concepts. Currently, Firefly users can upload up to six reference images and type a prompt while using the Nano Banana 3 Pro model to merge and refine elements in a single composition.
In Photoshop, Nano Banana Pro is the newest model powering Generative Fill. It provides creators with fast, prompt-based solutions to make specific edits, generate more realistic high-resolution images. It also allows exploring creative variations in any edit, such as adjusting the lighting of an image or changing its style or texture.
