A new private spacecraft intends to form assistance to the U.S. military. On Wednesday, 1st October, California-based "Inversion" unveiled Arc, a spacecraft intended to serve as an orbital warehouse. This will perform a superfast delivery system, designed to bring mission-critical equipment in less than an hour anywhere on Earth.
What Is Arc?
Arc is a new private spacecraft developed by California-based company Inversion. The purpose of this spacecraft is to carry mission-critical cargo from space to anywhere on Earth in less than one hour.
The spacecraft is autonomous, reusable and is approximately 8’ long by 4’ wide. It has the ability to land under parachute-assisted reentry, which guarantees safe and accurate landings.
Carrying and Delivering of the Spacecraft
The cargo is sent into orbit and released from Arc, and then the spacecraft descends autonomously. Parachutes aid a smooth landing, ensuring safe retrieval and rapid redeployment. Arc is intended to deliver cargo anywhere on Earth, forming the basis for a global logistics network.

Why is this important?
Arc will change the game in orbital logistics. It will increase the speed of delivery and offer reusability and coverage. Deliveries will not only be able to be made in less than an hour instead of days or hours, but it could also change the way supply chains, disaster response and strategic planning are conducted globally.
When will it be operational?
The Arc is currently in testing and Inversion plans to demonstrate rapid orbital cargo capabilities in the near future. The hypersonic design of the spacecraft allows it to travel at speeds exceeding Mach 20, enabling fast delivery times for mission-critical items.
