Wall Street founder and Epstein acquaintance accuses wife of affair in $100M divorce battle

Jeffrey Leeds, a New York-based private equity executive and Epstein's acquaintance, has accused his 26-year-younger wife, Elizabeth Leeds, of having an infidelity and misusing his wealth during their bitter divorce.

A high-stakes divorce is playing out across three states between Jeffrey Leeds, 69, and his wife, Elizabeth Leeds, 43, with accusations of affairs, sex toys, and wasted millions surfacing.

What has Jeffrey Leeds accused his wife of?

According to Leeds, his wife, Elizabeth, had a long-term affair with Miami-based businessman Alberto Alejandro Tawil, which resulted in a pregnancy.

Ina February 2025 email, included in the Palm Beach County divorce documents, Leeds wrote to Elizabeth, “You sneaked out the day I left to f–k that idiot loser.”

Another email shows Leeds, labelling Tawil as a “loser grifter real estate mogul.”

According to the New York Post, properties valued at $100 million are involved in this high-profile divorce. These include a $22 million, 14-room apartment at 740 Park Ave at Parl Avenue in Manhattan. a $23.5 million, 11-bedroom and 12.5-bath spread in Southampton, and a $35.6 million manse in Palm Beach.

Court filing reveals that Leeds accused his wife of using marital funds to invest $275,000 in Tawil’s businesses in Mozambique, paid the salaries of the 21 members of his household staff, and bought erotic gifts.

“Just leave us alone and come visit every now and then. You’re a part time-mother anyway,” he wrote to Elizabeth, speaking about their two children.

Leeds connection with Esptein

Leeds, whose name was mentioned multiple times in the newly released Epstein dump, was also quoted in a 2002 New York Magazine profile titled Jeffrey Epstein: International Moneyman of Mystery.

“You may read about Jeffrey in the social columns, but there is much more to him than that,” Leeds gushed about the pedophile. “He’s a talented money manager and an extremely hardworking person with broad interests.”

Although there are no allegations of misconduct against Leeds in connection with Epstein.

Elizabeth Leeds claims

Elizabeth alleged that in her Palm Beach County divorce documents, her estranged husband was engaging in financial warfare against her and had targeted her friends, such as Alberto Tawil and New York jeweller Anne Baker.

Jeffrey Leeds claimed that Anne Baker sold Elizabeth a $125,500 diamond and platinum chain, a $98,000 Georgian diamond collet-set necklace, and a $68,000 emerald-cut diamond bracelet.

Elizabeth also claimed that Jeffrey had “stalked” her, shouting at her and following her during a school event for their children.
