What can someone earn by working as a delivery rider? A viral video on social media is making many people ask that question. A Zepto delivery rider has caught the internet’s attention after sharing a clip showing his weekly earnings.
In the video, he responds to the question “Zepto karke kya mila?” (What did you gain from doing Zepto?) by simply displaying screenshots of his income. The post has quickly gone viral, with many viewers reacting with surprise, humour and even asking if there are job openings.
The video was shared on Instagram by a user identified as (@im____jamal) with the caption, “Zepto rider.”
Instead of answering with words, the rider holds up his phone and shows screenshots of his weekly earnings. As he scrolls through the images, he looks at the camera with a smile, appearing proud of what he has earned through his work.
According to the images displayed in the clip, the rider’s weekly earnings vary across different weeks but remain above Rs 12,000. From December 15 to December 21, he earned Rs 12,288, while from December 22 to December 28, his earnings increased to Rs 14,275. In the week between January 05 and January 11, the rider earned Rs 17,109, with an average daily income of Rs 2,444 during that period. Another screenshot from February 09 to February 15 shows his earnings at Rs 15,890, indicating that his weekly income consistently stayed above Rs 12,000 during the weeks shown in the video.
According to the rider’s Instagram bio, he is originally from Assam and is currently based in Bengaluru. Soon after the video was posted, it began circulating widely on social media and attracted a large number of comments.
Many viewers said they were surprised to see what they described as good weekly earnings from a delivery job. One user wrote, “Bhai mere store par itne nahi milte yaar, kaise karte ho tum?” (Bro, we don’t earn this much at my store, how do you do it?).
Another commented, “This is a great career option it seems.” A third user joked, “17K weekly? Bro, that’s almost the highest engineering package at Galgotias University.”
Some viewers were also curious about opportunities. One person asked, “Vacancy hai?” (Is there a vacancy?), while another added, “Yooo?? Send referral.” Many others joined the conversation with similar reactions, while some praised the rider for working hard and proudly sharing his earnings.
