Union Minister Rajnath Singh hosted a Holi bash on Wednesday which was attended by a number of other ministers and diplomats from other countries. While visuals from the party having been doing rounds, a particular clip of Singh dancing with a senior US diplomat while playing Holi is viral.

US Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo and Rajnath Singh shared the clip, using the moment to strengthen bonds between both countries.

"Delighted to host the United States Secretary of Commerce, Ms. Gina Raimondo on the auspicious occasion of Holi at my official residence," Singh tweeted with a video of their celebration.

Rajnath Singh was joined by Defence Minister S Jaishankar who shared a colourful photo with Raimondo.

Sharing a video similar to Rajnath Singh's, Raimondo tweeted, "A day filled with color, joy, and light. May we carry it with us as we continue to strengthen the bonds between India and the United States."

"It's an honour for me to be here on such a holiday. I felt so welcomed by the Minister, it's fantastic. Happy Holi!" Raimondo told news agency ANI.

Raimondo is on an India trip from March 7 to 10 to participate in the Indo-US Commercial Dialogue and CEO Forum where she will be discussing cooperation in various sectors to unlock new trade and investment opportunities between India and US.
