GST Business Processes

A Joint Committee on Business Processes for GST, set up by the Empowered Committee has submitted reports on the following areas under the GST regime:•      GST registration •      GST payments •      GST refund processThe same has now been made available in public domain with the following objective: “engage with the stakeholders and invite comments from the public at large, it has been decided to make available the draft Business Processes of GST.” Comments/ feedback on the same have been invited and can be submitted through the MyGov.in portal, on which discussion threads on GST are proposed to be made available shortly.A summary of the key points emerging from the Joint Committee’s reports on registration, refunds and payment of taxes under GST is provided here in this BMR Tax Alert.
