Ed Sheeran is in India for his second concert in Mumbai over the weekend. The British singer-songwriter kickstarted his visit by going to a school in Maximum city. In the video shared by Sheeran on Instagram, he was seen interacting with the young students. He even performed a song for them.
In the now-viral video, Sheeran was seen interacting with several students at the school. He played games and even performed his popular song, “Shape of You”, for them on the guitar.
Dressed casually in a white T-shirt and shorts, Sheeran was seen sitting on the floor while a few students performed for him. “So, just arrived in Mumbai, India. We are going to be visiting some schools today, playing some songs. I also heard that the kids have something to play for me as well,” he said in the beginning of the clip.
"Visited a school in Mumbai this morning and swapped performances with the kids, so much fun. Great being back in India too!" read the caption of the post.
Sheeran's fans were delighted to watch him having a gala time with students and showered their love in the comments section.
"The fact that he sat down together with the kids! Respect to you," one user wrote. Another user commented, "Somehow jealous of them."
"Bro is giving them the ultimate memory," a third user remarked. A fourth user added, "The man with a heart of gold."
Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran will be performing in India for the second time, the first being in 2017. His concert, a part of his Mathematics tour, will be held at the Mahalaxmi Race Course Grounds on March 16. Prateek Kuhad and Calum Scott will also be performing at the event.
