IndiGo flights from Bengaluru to Mumbai and Delhi were cancelled on December 5.

Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport issued a passenger advisory for IndiGo flyers, stating: “Passengers are requested to note that IndiGo flights from Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru to Mumbai and Delhi stand cancelled until 23:59 hours on December 5.”

“For IndiGo flights operating to other destinations, we recommend that passengers verify the latest flight status directly with the airline before leaving for the airport,” the advisory added.

“Our on-ground teams are actively coordinating with IndiGo and all operational partners to minimise inconvenience and support passengers through this disruption,” it said.

Sources told Moneycontrol that 102 flights - 52 arrivals and 50 departures - were cancelled at the airport on December 5. The previous day, IndiGo cancelled 99 flights at the airport, 62 flights on December 3, and 20 flights on December 2, after the airline reportedly failed to plan its roster adequately to comply with new government regulations limiting pilot flying hours.
