New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Wednesday issued a notice to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to respond to bail arguments for DMK MP Kanimozhi, Sharad Kumar and Karim Morani on December in the 2G spectrum scam.

The CBI on Wednesday again said that they do not oppose Kanimozhi's bail. CBI's lawyer said, "We reiterate our stand as before trial court. There is no deviation in our stand."

Kanimozhi's lawyers had moved the High court after a special CBI court dismissed her petition and that of seven others accused in the 2G scam.

Kanimozhi has sought bail on grounds of being a woman and a mother. This is the second time she's moving the Delhi High Court. It had rejected her bail application earlier in June citing her political clout.

There has been no interim relief for Bollywood producer Karim Morani as the Delhi High Court issued a notice to the CBI on his bail plea on Tuesday. The court also asked for Morani's latest medical report from jail authorities.

Morani, 53, is accused of facilitating routing of Rs 200 crore bribe to DMK-run Kalaignar TV through various companies of co-accused Shahid Balwa and his own firm Cineyug Films.
