Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara Netanyahu send off Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Tel Aviv airport. PM Modi departed for India after his two-day Israel visit.

Calling for a peaceful resolution in West Asia, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said both India and Israel are committed to not condoning terror in any form. "Terror in any form wont be tolerated and humanity must never become a victim of conflict," said PM Modi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also announced partnerships between India and Israel in artificial intelligence, quantum technologies and critical minerals.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said India and Israel will soon cooperate in health services, nuclear and space fields.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said India will soon sign a free trade agreement with Israel.

In an interview with India Today, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi expressed disappointment over India’s decision not to allocate funds this year for the Chabahar port project. He described the strategically vital port as a potential gateway connecting India to Central Asia, the Caucasus and Europe. The Union Budget marks the first time since the 2024 agreement that no funds have been earmarked for the project, which India has backed with Rs 100 crore annually in previous years.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu visited a technology exhibition in Jerusalem showcasing innovative projects by Israeli youth. India is poised to sign a landmark defence agreement with Israel to acquire Iron Dome technology as part of its indigenous ‘Mission Sudarshan Chakra’ air defence programme. Announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 15, 2025, the initiative aims to build an AI-enabled, multi-layered air shield. Tel Aviv has formally offered a technology transfer under the Make in India framework, enabling domestic production and integration.
