UK to introduce financial bonds to curb visa misuse

Visitors from 6 high-risk Afro-Asian countries, including India will be required to furnish 3,000 pounds bond for 6-month visit visa. CNBC-TV18 now learns the commerce minister  Anand Sharma has raised the issue with the UK.   The ministry of external affairs has also released a statement on the matter.  It says it may take up the issue in the India-UK consular meet next month.
