Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi was recently in India and had a one-on-one interaction with Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani in Bengaluru in which he touched on a number of topics, including delivering food for Uber Eats during the coronavirus pandemic phase.
During his visit to India, Anand Mahindra found some time to catch up with the Uber CEO and admitted that he was initially sceptical about how long he would stay in the company and how long Uber as a firm would survive, but admitted to have been proven wrong and praised Uber's disciplined corporate culture.
"I first met @dkhos in Davos shortly after he had taken the helm at
@Uber. I must confess that I wondered how long he would stay at the company & indeed, how long Uber would survive."
"Today, the company is solidly profitable, its corporate culture is disciplined and no-frills, & its market cap is around $170B! It was a pleasure to catch up again today with this man with the Midas Touch," Mahindra wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday.
