Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2024: Here's how you can watch the event

Samsung is all set to start 2024 with a bang. The company's annual Unpacked event will take place on January 17 in San Jose, California but it will be livestreamed globally.

The event will be livestreamed starting at 11:30pm in India, on Samsung's Newsroom, social media channels, and on YouTube.

Samsung's focus will be on the Galaxy S24 series, it's popular Android flagship that is expected to come in three variants - Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra. Also expected is the announcement of Samsung's AI offerings.

The handsets themselves are tipped to feature AMOLED LTPO displays with refresh rates up to 120Hz. The Ultra variant might see a 200-megapixel quad camera module, while the regular variants are expected to carry a 50-megapixel triple camera module.

In the US and Canada, the S24 series might use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, while the Exynos 2400 SoC could be used in other regions. There might be an affordable fitness tracker and wireless earbuds shown off at the event too.

The phones will possibly run Android 14 out of the box, overlaid with Samsung's OneUI 6.1 skin that might contain several Generative AI features.
