Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ launched with Snapdragon 865+ SoC and 120Hz display

While the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Galaxy Note 20 Duo were undoubtedly the two showstoppers at yesterday’s Galaxy Unpacked event, the company also unveiled a new tablet series yesterday. The Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ are the latest additions to Samsung’s flagship tablet lineup.

 Galaxy Tab S7+

The Galaxy Tab S7+ is powered by the Snapdragon 865+ SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The Tab S7+ sports a 12.4-inch AMOLED display with 420 nits of brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate. The tablet also features an in-display fingerprint reader. The Tab S7+ packs a 10,090 mAh battery that supports 45W charging.

The Galaxy Tab S7+ gets the upgraded S Pen of the Note 20 Ultra, with reduced 9ms latency. Connectivity options on the Tab S7+, includes Wi-Fi only, LTE and 5G. The tablet gets a 13 MP primary camera sensor on the back coupled with a 5 MP ultrawide camera. On the front, there is an 8 MP camera for video calls. The Tab S7+ also features a magnetic strip to hold the S Pen.

Galaxy Tab S7

The standard Tab S7 boasts the same chipset, RAM, and storage as the ‘Plus’ variant. The Tab S7 gets an 11-inch LTPS TFT panel with 500 nits of brightness as well as a 120Hz refresh rate. However, the Tab S7 gets the new S Pen at the regular 26ms latency. The vanilla Tab S7 also packs a 7,040 mAh battery capacity. The Galaxy Tab S7 has the same front and rear cameras as the Plus model. The fingerprint reader on the Tab S7 is mounted on the right side on account of the LCD panel.

Galaxy Tab S7 Price

The Galaxy Tab S7 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is priced at EUR 700 (Roughly Rs 62,150) for the Wi-Fi only variant and EUR 800 (Roughly Rs 71,000) for the LTE variant. Additionally, the 8GB/256GB LTE version costs EUR 880 (Roughly Rs 78,120), while the Wi-Fi-only model is priced at EUR 780 (Roughly Rs 69,250).

Galaxy Tab S7+ Price

The Galaxy Tab S7+ with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is priced at EUR 900 (Roughly Rs 79,900) for the Wi-Fi only variant and EUR 800 (Roughly Rs 97,650) for the 5G variant. Additionally, the 8GB/256GB 5G version costs EUR 980 (Roughly Rs 87,000), while the Wi-Fi-only model is priced at EUR 1,180 (Roughly Rs 1,04,750).

The Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ are available in Mystic Black, Mystic Bronze, and Mystic Silver colour options starting August 21 in select markets.
