POCO M6 5G goes on sale from today.

POCO calls it the most affordable 5G phone in India. The POCO M6 5G has just been unveiled in partnership with Flipkart and Airtel at a launch price of Rs 8,799 starting March 10, 2024. Along with the special price, all Airtel Prepaid customers who buy this device will get a one-time 50 GB of mobile data from Airtel. We round up the key highlights:

Sky Dance design: POCO calls it the Premium Sky Dance design. The different hues shift and blend like a celestial aurora to create a unique colour palette. The device comes in Orion Blue and Galactic Black.

Side-mounted fingerprint sensor: We approve of the side fingerprint sensor that  seamlessly integrates with the power button and adds an extra layer of protection to your phone.

Under the hood: At its heart is the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor. The phone has crossed the 4,28,000 mark in its AnTuTu benchmark scores. The POCO M6 5G comes in a choice of hardware configurations that start at 4GB of RAM going up to 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. You can extend the memory up to 1TB with support for MicroSD cards.

90Hz refresh rate: You get a 6.74-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The display hits a peak brightness of 600 nits.

Dual rear cam: One of the highlights of the M6 is the 50MP AI dual camera. The rear cam comes with multiple camera modes and is complemented by a 5MP selfie shooter.

Robust battery: The device weighs under 200 gm despite a solid 5000 mAh battery backed by a 18W charger in the box.

POCO’s M6 5G ticks quite a few boxes for a budget smartphone and comes at Rs 8,799 for the 4+128GB variant.
