It’s official, OnePlus announced via X (formerly Twitter) and its dedicated microsite that the OnePlus Nord CE4 will debut on April 1 in India. This was widely expected after the launch of OnePlus’ flagship OnePlus 12 series that arrived in January 2024. OnePlus is betting big on the next addition it’s aggressively priced CE line. The brand has been buoyed by the success of the OnePlus Nord CE3 Lite in terms of sales numbers achieved in 2023. OnePlus has commenced the teaser campaign for the Nord CE4 with their ‘All Power. All You’ brand ethos. A lot of the pre-launch buzz is around the brand’s choice of processor for the forthcoming OnePlus Nord CE4. Here’s what we know thus far:
Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset: According to OnePlus this latest generation of processors from the Snapdragon 7 series uses minimal power to give you a fast and smooth performance for better battery life. Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip enhances 15% boost in CPU performance, a 50% boost in GPU performance, and a 20% boost in power saving. It’s likely to make streaming content, multi-tasking between apps or gaming smoother and faster.
Elegant design: OnePlus has teased two colour options on the India website. The Nord CE4 is expected to ship in Dark Chrome and the hero colour – Celadon Marble. This colour way takes design inspiration from the OnePlus 11 Marble Odyssey special edition. We like the vertical pill-shaped camera module. The flash is clearly visible in the pill-shaped rear camera cut-out.
Other details: According to a report in Fonearena, the Nord CE4 is expected to feature a large, 6.7-inch AMOLED screen. The report also suggests that the camera set up could include a 16MP selfie camera that teams up with a dual rear camera (50MP + 8MP).
The OnePlus Nord CE4 is expected to land in the sub Rs 25,000 segment. Stay tuned for more details.
