May 04, 2012 / 11:30 IST

A common dream shared by most Elder Scrolls enthusiasts is to run around Bethesda’s gorgeous world with friends taking part in quests co-operatively. Now this dream has been realized with The Elder Scrolls Online, the newly announced MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) set in the Elder Scrolls universe. This news was made public via Game Informer’s June issue where they talk in great depth about the game, its class system and how all this would basically work. The game is being developed by Zenimax Online Studios and will take place a millennium before the events of Skyrim. Players will be able to fully explore Tamriel indulging in PVE (Player VS. Environment) quests as well as intense PVP (Player VS. Player) action.
