Tecno has officially launched the Pova Curve 2 smartphone in India, expanding its performance-focused Pova lineup with a device built around battery capacity, connectivity enhancements and AI-powered features. The new smartphone targets users looking for long endurance, high refresh rate visuals and stable network performance in everyday usage.
The Pova Curve 2 follows the original Pova Curve and brings hardware upgrades across battery size, display technology and processing architecture while maintaining a slim form factor.
The Tecno Pova Curve 2 features a curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, aimed at delivering smoother scrolling and gaming visuals. The company has also included eye comfort technology to reduce strain during extended screen time.
A key highlight is the 8,000mAh battery housed within a 7.42mm slim body, with the phone weighing 195 grams. Tecno says the large battery is designed to support long hours of usage for streaming, gaming and work without frequent charging.
Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek D7100 processor, supported by a triple-chipset connectivity setup. This includes a dedicated G1 signal chipset and an SE1 Wi-Fi chipset, alongside the main processor. The phone supports 20 5G bands and features intelligent network switching for improved signal stability.
The Pova Curve 2 runs Tecno’s ELLA AI 2.0 system, offering multilingual support across Indian languages including Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Gujarati and Marathi. The AI tools are built to assist with everyday tasks, voice clarity and real-time usability.
One of the notable additions is all-scenarios AI noise reduction, which works across regular calls, video calls, gaming voice chats and online meetings to keep audio clearer in different environments.
