Samsung announces the ultra-HDTV S9 for India

Samsung announced the 85-inch ultra-HDTV called the S9 at the 2013 Samsung Forum in Hyderabad today. Released originally at the Consumer Electronics Show

Samsung officially announced an 85-inch ultra-HDTV, the S9, at the Samsung Forum 2013 in Hyderabad today. Originally unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show earlier this year, the 4K UHD TV features Samsung’s proprietary upscaling engine, which can upscale HD or Full-HD to UHD-level quality by restoring detail information. There has been no word on pricing and availability of the TV yet.
