The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, launched earlier this month in the US, are slated to hit the Indian market from October 7, with prices starting at Rs 60,000.

This is the second major price cut on the iPhone 5s in India ever since Apple introduced the iPhone 6s around four months ago.

The Apple Watch is available in two different sizes - 38 mm and 42 mm - in three collections, Apple Watch Sport, Apple Watch and Apple Watch Edition, crafted from custom rose or yellow 18-karat gold alloys. Priced at Rs 30,900 onwards, the Watch comes in 40 different combinations.

The South Korean giant could instead partner with a company called Synaptics, which launched its own pressure-sensitive touchscreen sensors called Clearforce earlier this month. The new technology, as Synaptics says, will be ready by early next year, Business Insider notes.

According to sources, the new devices will be available in the Indian market, both online and offline, by the end of next month. This will help the company to take advantage of the festive season, they added.
