Ayodhya Ram Mandir donation | Here's how you can make your contribution

Donations for the construction of the Ram Mandir have started pouring and many saints, politicians, and businessmen have already contributed for the same. The Shri Ram Janma Bhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has been set up by the Government of India to construct the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

The construction of the much-awaited Ram Mandir will start after the groundbreaking ceremony on August 5. The grand event will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi who will lay the foundation of the temple.

The event will also be witnessed by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, UP Governor Anandiben Patel and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath.

Donations for the construction of the Ram Mandir have started pouring and many saints, politicians, and businessmen have already contributed for the same.

The Shri Ram Janma Bhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has been set up by the Government of India to construct the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. PM Modi on February 5, 2020 announced the same in the Lok Sabha.

Donations made so far:

Morari Bapu announced a donation of Rs 5 crore from his Vyaspeeth to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust (SRJTKT).

Uttar Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister, Keshav Prasad Maurya donated Rs 6.60 lakh to the trust on behalf of late Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) president Ashok Singhal, his late guru Gurujan Singh and family members.

The VHP has also planned to reach 10 crore families across the country and collect donations ranging from Re 1 to Rs 10 from each for the cause.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had, in his personal capacity, donated Rs 11 lakh to the trust for the temple construction.

The Mahavir Mandir Trust of Patna also donated the first installment of Rs 2 crore of the announced Rs 10 crore donations.

Besides cash donations, devotees are also donating gold and silver for the temple.

Hyderabad-based jeweller K Srinivas donated gold brick weighing one kilogram and a five-kilogram silver brick to the trust.

The Shri Ram Janma Bhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has received around Rs 6 crore through online donations in the past four months.
