Kishor also challenged Tejashwi Yadav to speak for five minutes on socialism without reading from a paper.

Attacking Tejashwi Yadav, Jan Suraaj chief Prashant Kishor said the “9th fail” former deputy chief minister of Bihar could not lead the state to development due to lack of education, according to ANI.

"... If someone could not get educated because of lack of resources, it is understood. But if someone's parents are the Chief Minister and he could not pass 10th class, then this shows their approach towards education,” Kishor said while addressing a gathering in Bhojpur.

Taking dig at the Rashtriya Janata Dal leader's educational background, Kishor said “a 9th fail is showing the way to Bihar's development”. “He (Tejashwi Yadav) doesn't know the difference between GDP and GDP growth and he will tell how Bihar will improve?" said Kishor.

According to Kishor, Tejashwi was relying on his father Lalu Prasad Yadav's legacy and was not capable of being a leader based on merit.

Speaking about Yadav's upcoming state tour starting on September 10, Kishor challenged him to connect with constituents on foot rather than relying on a convoy of vehicles and staged photo opportunities. He dismissed Yadav's promises of government jobs as deceptive, citing the existing 23 lakh government employees in Bihar, which only account for 1.97 per cent of the population.

The Jan Suraaj chief had earlier questioned Yadav's abilities due to his educational background previously as well, calling Tejashwi's growth model for Bihar, "laughable" . The former deputy chief minister had responded saying that Kishor was free to voice his opinion in a democracy.

Kishor also challenged Tejashwi Yadav to speak for five minutes on socialism without reading from a paper.

Speaking on the caste census, Kishor supported its implementation but criticised the current political discourse surrounding it as a tool for political gain.
