Well then, Punjab Kings delivered a statement win in Jaipur, strengthening their playoff bid by matching RCB in points but securing second place thanks to a superior net run rate. Rajasthan Royals, meanwhile, have endured a forgettable campaign. With their last two games set in Jaipur, PBKS will next lock horns with Delhi Capitals on May 24, Saturday, while RR will head to Chennai for their last game of the season, to take on their fellow eliminated side, CSK, on May 20, Tuesday. But the IPL thrill continues as it’s a Super Sunday double-header! The evening showdown between Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans has already commenced, with DC invited to bat first. You can switch tabs to catch all the live action. From this match center, it's goodbye! Cheers, take care!

Harpreet Brar is adjudged as the PLAYER OF THE MATCH for his exceptional bowling figures. He begins by saying that he is feeling really great and wants to dedicate this award to his wife, as this is his first POTM award after getting married. Adds that Ricky Ponting has motivated him to work on a lot of things. Says his plans were clear as he knew the batters would try to attack him. Points that the way the wicket was behaving, and the way RR were batting, his plans were not to provide easy boundary balls. Further tells that he has been working with Sunil Joshi for a few years now and he has taught him a lot. On being the second spinner behind Yuzvendra Chahal, he says when Yuzi came in the side, he felt a lot easier to bowl in tandem with him. Concludes by saying that cricket is a funny game and says he knew he would grab the opportunity whenever he got the chance to prove himself.

The captain of Punjab Kings, Shreyas Iyer, is up for a chat. Iyer cited a finger issue as the reason for not taking the field, stating that he was unsure what happened and needed to get it checked. Despite his absence, he had emphasized the importance of maintaining strong body language. Iyer expressed pride in his team's performance, highlighting their consistent approach and positive mindset. He commended their brilliant attitude, especially after a break, noting that they had gone out with the intention to win. Reflecting on the game, Iyer mentioned that the spinners might be challenging to get away from in future matches, which was a valuable learning experience. He also emphasized that his team has the ability to change the game from any situation.

It is time for the Presentation Ceremony...

Marco Jansen of Punjab Kings is up for a chat now. He first hands over the Orange Cap to Yashasvi Jaiswal, who just went past the 500-run mark with a quickfire fifty. He begins by saying that the ball was flying everywhere and adds that it was just about staying in the game. Says the talk was about getting two or three or four overs right, which would bring their run rate down. Admits that they executed their plans really well and finished off in the backend. On his conversations with Arshdeep Singh, Jansen says that he went with Singh's option which worked well for them. Says the body feels good and a small break helped in terms of mental things. Concludes by saying that whenever the team needed him, he has tried to stick up like everyone's doing.

The captain of the Rajasthan Royals, Sanju Samson, reflected on their chase, saying they got off to a strong start with nearly 90 runs in the first 6 overs but failed to build on that momentum. He expressed disappointment that despite having a strong batting lineup and power hitters, they couldn't chase down the target. Samson found it hard to pinpoint a particular aspect that went wrong, acknowledging that sometimes things don't go as planned, even with players capable of finishing games. He emphasized the need to finish well and build strongly for the next season.

Earlier in the game, Punjab Kings chose to bat but faced early setbacks, losing their top three, including the in-form Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh, inside the powerplay. Shreyas Iyer and Nehal Wadhera steadied the innings with a crucial 67-run stand, balancing caution and aggression, while Wadhera’s fluent fifty ensured Punjab stayed in control. The middle order stepped up with all incoming batters maintaining the tempo, and Shashank Singh’s blistering fifty in the backend propelled PBKS to a commanding 219. The Royals managed breakthroughs and disrupted partnerships but failed to arrest the momentum, leaking too many runs in the death overs. Tushar Deshpande picked up two wickets while Maphaka, Madhwal, and Parag claimed one each.

Backs were against the wall for the Rajasthan Royals, and the well-settled Dhruv Jurel had a mountainous task to execute. He kept the flame of the chase ignited, but was left searching for partners at the other end. The Kings kept chipping in with timely blows, which pegged the Royals back again and again. Jurel scored a gritty fifty and helped RR to get past the 200-run mark, but that too proved to be inadequate in the end as the Royals fell short by just 10 runs.

Rajasthan Royals looked well in command on a placid surface, with Jaiswal setting the tone with his aggressive strokeplay, complemented by skipper Sanju Samson’s steady presence. They cruised to 114/2 by the halfway mark, but momentum quickly shifted. A sudden collapse saw them slump to 144/4 as the middle order struggled under pressure. Harpreet Brar emerged as Punjab's game-changer, dismantling RR’s resistance with three crucial wickets after the fielding restrictions eased.

With nothing to lose, the Royals' openers wasted no time in making their intentions clear. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi launched a relentless assault, dispatching anything pitched fuller with authority, ensuring dot balls were a rarity as they dominated the Powerplay. Harpreet Brar, though, managed to break the momentum by removing Sooryavanshi, but RR, riding on a blitzkrieg, surged to 89/1 compared to Punjab’s 58/3 by the end of the first six overs.

Punjab Kings register their eighth win of the season and have now climbed up to the second spot. But, overall, this was a fantastic game of cricket as 428 runs were scored across both innings, and only 10 runs separated both teams in the chase of 220. This marks the tenth defeat in this season for Rajasthan Royals off 13 games played. And if we are not wrong, this is the most number of losses for the Royals in a single season. Nonetheless, it was yet another high scoring affair between these two rivals, with Punjab Kings getting their fourth 200-plus score against the Royals in the IPL.

19.6FOUR! A boundary on the last delivery of this contest. Full and on the pads, Kwena Maphaka shuffles across and scoops this towards the fine leg fence for four runs. Punjab Kings win this by 10 runs.

19.5FOUR! On a length around middle and leg, Kwena Maphaka slogs this towards the gap between deep mid-wicket and wide long on for a boundary.

19.5WIDE! On a length wide down the leg. Kwena Maphaka leaves it. Wided.

Kwena Maphaka is in at 9 and will face the Hat Trick ball from Jansen.

19.4OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! A golden duck for Wanindu Hasaranga. On a length, angling across the batter, Wanindu Hasaranga looks to slog at it but gets an outside edge straight to Prabhsimran Singh behind the stumps.

Wanindu Hasaranga is in next.

19.3OUT! IN THE AIR AND GONE! That's the game for Punjab as Jansen sends the dangerous-looking Dhruv Jurel packing. Wide yorker, around off, Dhruv Jurel opens the face of his bat to hit this away to the fence, but mistimes it in the air, and the ball finds Mitchell Owen at the deep third fence. Dhruv Jurel departs for a fighting 53 (31).

19.2Shubham Dubey has struggled to find the middle of his bat. On a length around off, Shubham Dubey goes for a slog but misses and hits this off the inside of his bat towards deep mid-wicket for one.

19.1Nails the wide yorker, Dhruv Jurel steps across and hits this towards long off for one.

Who bowls the last then? Jansen or Bartlett? Given the experience levels, it should be Jansen. And it is the Protea who will wrap up things in Jaipur! Rajasthan Royals need 22 to win off this final over.

18.6Short-pitched again, wide of off, slower again from Singh. Shubham Dubey once again doesn't read this well, but this time manages to fend this towards deep mid-wicket and runs a couple.

18.5Slower one, short-pitched, around off. Shubham Dubey swings early and the ball arrives late. Dubey misses out completely.

18.4Wide yorker, around off, excellent execution from Arshdeep Singh. Dhruv Jurel hits it off the toe end and rolls the ball to extra cover for one.

18.3FOUR! FIFTY FOR JUREL! Short-pitched, around off, Dhruv Jurel hops up on his toes and cuts this over backward point for four runs. Brings up his half-century with this, but Jurel knows that he still has a game to win for his side.

18.2On a length, way too wide of off, Shubham Dubey pushes this towards long off for one. It would have been a wide had Dubey left this.

18.1Slower one, back of a length wide of off, Shubham Dubey looks to help this away on off around point for a rotation of strike but misses.

Arshdeep Singh (3-0-52-0) to bowl the penultimate over.

17.6Slower bumper, outside off, Dhruv Jurel looks to play the upper cut but misses. Dhruv Jurel doesn't opt to send this upstairs.

17.5SIX! DISMISSED! Dhruv Jurel is keeping his side within touching distance. On a length around off, Dhruv Jurel clears his front leg and swings at it. Connects well, and the ball has sailed this into the crowd over the fielder at long on for a huge six.

17.4Short-pitched, around middle and leg, Shubham Dubey pulls this flat and towards the fielder at deep square for one.

17.3Good length on the pads, Shubham Dubey tucks this through square leg for a couple.

Rajasthan Royals use their Impact Sub, as Shubham Dubey walks in at 7. Fazalhaq Farooqi makes way for the left-hander. He has got a mountainous job to do now, alongside Jurel.

17.2OUT! IN THE AIR AND GONE! This was there to be hit away for a boundary at least. On a length around off, Shimron Hetmyer looks to clear the fence down the ground towards long on but gets it off the bottom of his bat. The travels only as far as the right of Xavier Bartlett down at the long on fence for a regulation catch. Azmatullah Omarzai gets his second wicket and Shimron Hetmyer departs for a struggling 11 off 12 balls. The Royals have slipped down to 181/5 now.

17.1Wide yorker, around off, Shimron Hetmyer chips this wide of extra cover and comes back for two.

16.6Pitched-up wide of off, Dhruv Jurel chips this towards sweeper cover and comes back for two.

16.6FIVE WIDES! Terrible from the bowler first and then the keeper. On a length, way too wide outside off, Dhruv Jurel shuffled across and ended up not hitting this but the ball kept going away from the batter and the keeper as well, diving to his right. The ball misses everything and everyone and has raced to the fence towards the third man region. Shockingly, with 2 reviews remaining, Punjab Kings do not opt for a review for this wide call. To be very fair, Dhruv Jurel shuffled way too far across the off stump, which should have altered the wide guideline as well. However, they do not challenge it.

16.5Short-pitched, around off, Dhruv Jurel looks to fend this towards the leg side but gets it toe-poked back to the keeper on the bounce.

16.4SIX! That's what RR needs right now. Arshdeep Singh goes for the yorker but misses and lands it in the slot, around off, Dhruv Jurel clears his front foot and slogs this over the long on fielder for a huge six. This was very much needed for RR.

16.3Short-pitched, wide of off, Shimron Hetmyer thumps this into the surface and towards long on for one.

16.2Swing and a miss. On a length wide outside off, Shimron Hetmyer clears his front leg and looks for the wild swing but misses.

16.1Bumper, outside off. Shimron Hetmyer takes a step down the track and looks to swing at it but misses. Shimron Hetmyer expects a wide to be signalled but the umpire keeps his hands down. Shimron opts for a review for the wide not being given. The Ball Tracking shows that the ball is passing below the head height of Shimron Hetmyer and RR lose a review.

15.6Yorker on middle and leg, Shimron Hetmyer flicks this through mid-wicket for a single to end the over.

15.5Good length on off, Dhruv Jurel guides this to backward point and rotates strike.

15.4FOUR! Another boundary and this time Jurel gets into the act. Back of a length around off, Dhruv Jurel flicks this through the vacant mid-wicket region and the ball has raced to the fence for four more. Boundaries have just started to come now for the Royals.

15.3Low full toss on middle and leg, Shimron Hetmyer flicks this through mid-wickrt for a single.

15.2FOUR! Smashed through the gap for four. On a length around off, Shimron Hetmyer strides to the pitch of it and hammers this between mid off and extra cover for four.

15.1Good length on off, Shimron Hetmyer punches this towards the bowler for no run.

Azmatullah Omarzai (2-0-22-1) is back on.

14.6Yorker, around off, Dhruv Jurel jams this towards cover for no run. Yuzi goes wicketless and ends his spell with 4-0-30-0.

14.5Fired straight at off stump line, Dhruv Jurel punches this back to the bowler.

14.4Quicker around off, Dhruv Jurel cuts this to point for no run.

14.3SIX! Short of a length around middle and leg, Dhruv Jurel waits on it, gets onto his back foot and pulls this out of the park towards the deep mid-wicket region for six runs. The 150 comes up for the Royals.

14.2Tossed up on the pads, Shimron Hetmyer tucks this through mid-wicker for one.

14.1Floated into the batter, Dhruv Jurel gets an inside edge towards short fine leg for one.

13.6A misfield from Chahal at short fine leg and another chance goes begging. Too full, wide down the leg, Dhruv Jurel helps this towards short fine and sets off for a single, which wasn't on. Yuzvendra Chahal attacked well but did not collect it, allowing the batters to take one.

13.5Slower one, around off, Dhruv Jurel rocks back and cuts this to point for no run.

13.4Floated wide of off, Shimron Hetmyer guides this to deep point for one.

13.3Seam up, short-pitched, on off. Shimron Hetmyer dabs this to short third for no run.

13.2OUT! CLEANED HIM UP! Harpreet Brar keeps chipping in with wickets as he gets his third of the evening! He dishes out an arm ball, on a flatter trajectory, drifting on the leg stump line. It lands and stays a tad bit low on the bounce, which outfoxes Parag. The batter stands tall and goes for a pull shot, but, due to the lack of bounce, the ball passes under the bat and crashes into the leg stump. This is turning out to be a good phase for Punjab Kings as the Rajasthan Royals are reduced to 144/4 now.

13.1Short of a length around middle and leg, Dhruv Jurel smashes this towards long on for one.

Time for the final Strategic Break of the game. Rajasthan Royals initially got off to a strong start, but their momentum was disrupted by a cluster of wickets in the middle overs. Now, Riyan Parag and Dhruv Jurel are crucial in taking the game forward, while Shimron Hetmyer and others will play a vital role in helping the team chase down Punjab Kings' total. For Punjab Kings, taking wickets remains key to winning the match. Here's Harpreet Brar into the attack after the break.

12.6SIX! The over started with a six and will end with a six as well! Banged in short by Omarzai, on middle and leg, Riyan Parag stands tall and smashes the pull shot behind deep mid-wicket for a cracking six. A 17-run over and Rajasthan Royals need another 77 runs from 42 balls remaining.

12.5Short-pitched delivery, on top of off, Dhruv Jurel swivels and pulls it to deep square leg for a single.

12.4Hits the deck hard, skidding through around off, Dhruv Jurel tucks it across off the inner half of the bat. The ball rolls towards deep mid-wicket and the batters scamper back for the second run.

12.3Short of a good length, outside off, Riyan Parag stands tall and jabs it to deep mid-wicket for another solo.

12.2Good-length delivery, on the leg stump, tucked away to deep mid-wicket for one.

12.1SIX! A shot and a half from Jurel! Omarzai spears it fuller and on the pads, with a tinge of a reverse on it. Dhruv Jurel picks up nicely and whips it over deep square leg for a six.

11.6A top over from Chahal! Just 7 off it. Lands it full and on middle, Dhruv Jurel prods forward and drives it down to long on for a single.

11.5A slower slider on middle and leg, on a fullish length, Dhruv Jurel tries to work across the line, but the ball goes off the outside edge to the short third region.

11.4Flat and on middle, on a length, nudged by Parag to deep mid-wicket for a single.

11.3Slows it up, on a length, Dhruv Jurel works across to the leg side for a single.

11.2FOUR! Much-needed! A boundary for RR after 22 deliveries! Too short and on the off stump, Dhruv Jurel is quick to rock back and pins the pull shot between long on and deep mid-wicket for a boundary.

11.1Floated nicely up, full and on middle, Jurel hangs back and knocks it back to Yuzi.

10.6Outside off on a back of a length, Riyan Parag punches it in front of square, to the right of deep cover. The fielder there, Nehal Wadhera, runs across and makes good ground to cut it off. Saves two for his side.

10.5Pitched fuller and outside off, Dhruv Jurel leans forward and knocks it through cover for a single.

10.4Fuller and slower on off, Dhruv Jurel clips it past mid-wicket for a couple of quick runs.

10.3Hard length, around off, Jurel respects it and blocks off the back foot.

Dhruv Jurel walks out next to bat.

10.2OUT! GONE UP IN THE AIR AND CAUGHT! Azmatullah Omarzai keeps making things happen for Punjab Kings! He bowls it into the pitch, on a length, angling it to the leg stump line, Sanju Samson finds no space to work with and has to shuffle outside leg to make some room for himself. He tries to loft it over long off, but mistimes the ball towards the off side. Marco Jansen from mid off, runs across to his left and takes a fine running catch. Sanju Samson departs for 20 and RR have now slipped to 114/3 now.

Harpreet Brar has bowled tremendously and has picked both the oepeners giving his side a strong chance to contain runs and pull the game back in their favor.

10.1Back of a length, outside off, guided off the back foot to short third.

9.6Outside off, slower through the air on a fuller length, Sanju Samson goes for a cover drive but outside edges it to the left of short third for a single. Halfway through the chase and Rajasthan Royals are 114/2, needing another 106 runs in 60 balls.

9.5Shorter and quicker, on middle, Riyan Parag heaves across to deep mid-wicket for a single.

9.4Slides it on the leg stump, and gets it to turn toward middle. Riyan Parag works it to the off side.

9.3Slightly pulls the length back, on middle and leg, Sanju Samson nudges it between mid-wicket and mid on for a single.

9.2Goes full, and drifts down the leg. Parag clears his front leg and works it down to widish long on for a single.

9.1Slower and fuller, on off, Riyan Parag gets forward and eases it into the off side.

8.6Landed fuller and outside off, Parag leans on it and drives it wide of long off for a single.

8.5Full and just outside off, this is pushed out to extra cover by Parag.

Riyan Parag walks out at 4 for the Rajasthan Royals.

8.4OUT! IN THE AIR AND TAKEN! Just when RR were going at the rate of knots, Harpreet Brar picks up another wicket and this time Yashasvi Jaiswal departs after a 25-ball 50. Brar bowls from around the stumps, and drifts it across the off stump, keeping the length fuller. Yashasvi Jaiswal gets on the front foot to loft it over long off, but doesn't quite get his bat under the ball properly. Hence, he finds no timing and the ball sails towards the right of Mitchell Owen at long off. The Aussie takes a fine catch. RR are 109/2 now.

8.3Just outside off, quick and flat on a fuller length, Sanju Samson slices it to the right of point and a half stop allows them to rush for a single.

8.2Floated full and on off, Sanju Samson lofts it over the off side and takes two more runs.

8.1Flatter and quicker, drifting on the pads, Yashasvi Jaiswal eases it across to deep mid-wicket for a single. FIFTY FOR JAISWAL. His sixth this season and this has come off just 24 balls. He has looked unbothered so far and RR would want him to bat deep.

7.6Flat and quick, on off, Yashasvi Jaiswal tucks this length ball to deep mid-wicket for a single. 11 off Chahal's first over then. RR need another 115 runs off 72 balls remaining.

7.5Yuzi keeps attacking the stumps, full in length, Sanju Samson plays with the spin and drives past mid off for a single.

7.4Around off, full in length, nicely tossed up, Sanju Samson lofts it inside out over cover for a couple of runs.

7.3SIX! Just over Marco Jansen in the deep! Pitched fuller and right in front of the stumps, Sanju Samson gets the front leg out of the way and smokes it over long on. Marco Jansen leaps in the air, but it's just not enough as the ball sails over him for a six.

7.2Very slow and on the shorter side, Sanju Samson goes for a big booming pull shot, but chops it onto the surface off the inside edge.

7.1Yuzvendra Chahal is into the attack now. Bowls it flat and on middle, Yashasvi Jaiswal whips it across to deep mid-wicket for a single.

6.6A bit too full and on off, Yashasvi Jaiswal drills it down to long off for a single. A quiet over this as just 5 singles come off it.

6.5Goes over the stumps, on a length, around off, Yashasvi Jaiswal backs away and cuts it to point.

6.4Fuller and on the stumps, Sanju Samson with a straight bat, pushes this through mid off for a single again.

6.3Flat and on a dragged length, on middle, Yashasvi Jaiswal hangs back and punches it across to deep mid-wicket. Gets a single.

6.2Nice and full, drifting on off, Sanju Samson leans on it and drives along the ground to long off for a single.

6.1Floated full and around off, from around the stumps, drilled down to long on for a single.

Time for a strategic Time Out. Rajasthan Royals are off to a blistering start, thanks to the southpaw openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who have given the team a flying start. Harpreet Brar broke the partnership, dismissing Sooryavanshi in the 5th over, and now it's up to Sanju Samson and the rest of the batting lineup to continue the momentum. Punjab Kings need wickets in quick succession to regain control of the game.

5.6Hard length and outside off, tapped away towards the cover-point region.

5.5FOUR! Down the wrong line. Short of a length and down leg, Sanju Samson just clips it away down to fine leg for a boundary.

5.4Good length, around the top of off, patted away down towards extra cover.

5.3Full and straight, clipped away in front of mid-wicket for a single.

5.2FOUR! Pitched up around off, angling it in, Yashasvi Jaiswal stays deep in the crease and swings it away wide of long on for a boundary.

5.1FOUR! Finds the gap! Slower one, a bit short and wide, Yashasvi Jaiswal waits well and taps the ball to the left of the diving backward point fielder for a boundary.

4.6Nicely flighted, full and on off, Sanju Samson caresses the ball to covers.

Sanju Samson walks out at 3.

4.5OUT! CAUGHT! What a relief for Punjab Kings! Harpreet Brar stays over the wicket and darts this one in full and at the stumps. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi hangs deep and looks to heave across the line but loses his shape. The ball gets sliced up over mid off where Xavier Bartlett does well to reach back over his head and takes the catch. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi departs for a rollicking 40 off just 15 balls and Rajasthan Royals are 76/1.

4.4FOUR! Pure force! Quicker and into the pitch, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi leans back and forces the pull back over the bowler's head for another boundary.

4.3FOUR! Edged away! Good length outside off, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi goes after it but gets an outside edge down to deep third for a boundary.

4.2On a length and at the stumps, pushed down to long on for a single.

4.1Well bowled! Flatter one, angled across off stump, Yashasvi Jaiswal backs away to cut but misses.

3.6SIX! The ball is just sailing over the fence! Arshdeep Singh bowls a shorter one again, around off, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi shapes up for the pull shot and deposits it behind deep square leg for a massive six. Arshdeep went for 22 in his first and went for 16 in his second. His figures read 2-0-38-0 so far.

3.5SIX! There's no stopping these two, it seems! Into the arc from Arshdeep, on off, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi clears the front foot and sends the ball sailing behind deep mid-wicket for a cracking six.

3.4A deceptive pace off ball, around off, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi tries to punch it to the off side, but chops it into the leg side, near the strip.

3.3Short again, outside off, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi sways away from the line of the ball and lets it be.

3.2Banged in short and on off, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi leans back to ramp but misses. A sharp bumper this from Arshdeep.

3.1FOUR! Slower one, back of a length, around off. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi waits for the ball to arrive closer to him and pulls this over mid-wicket for four runs.

Arshdeep Singh (1-0-22-0) replaces Marco Jansen.

2.6Back of a length and outside off, cut away late but straight to backward point.

2.5FOUR! Nicely played and the 50 is up for the Royals, the fastest team 50 this season in the IPL. Back of a length and angling across off, Jaiswal stays back and gets a deft touch wide of the keeper and into the deep third fence.

2.4Pitched up around off, driven on the up but straight to mid off.

That was too risky from Jaiswal there.

2.3Slightly fuller and at the stumps, Yashasvi Jaiswal drives it off the inner half of the blade to mid on. There is a direct hit at the bowler's end but the ball deflects away and the batters try to sneak in a single. Nehal Wadhera picks up the ball and throws it to the keeper as the batters try to scamper back. Prabhsimran Singh whips off the bails as Jaiswal dives in. The third umpire is called into action and replays show that the batter had just got back in time.

2.2FOUR! Oh, that's poor fielding! On a good length and outside off, Yashasvi Jaiswal caresses it on the up towards covers but Harpreet Brar over there lets it through for another boundary.

2.1FOUR! Different bowler, same result! Bartlett begins with a full and wide one, too full and wide, though. Jaiswal reaches out and drills the drive through covers for a boundary.

1.6SIX! That is a howitzer from young Sooryavanshi! Full again and around off, Sooryavanshi gets deep in the crease and has a slight shuffle to the off side before whacking it across and over deep mid-wicket for another biggie. RR 39/0 after just 2 overs!

1.5Good length in and around middle stump, Sooryavanshi nudges it across to mid-wicket.

1.4FOUR! Fortune favoring the brave at the moment! Hard length around off, Sooryavanshi throws his hands at it and slashes it off the outside edge over short third and into the fence.

1.3Back of a length and in the channel, Sooryavanshi rises up with the bounce and keeps it down.

1.2SIX! Vaibhav is up and running in sublime fashion as well. Too full and straight, right in the slot, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi clears the front leg and hits through the line, back over the bowler's head for a biggie.

1.2Wide! Pitched up on the pads, slanting down the leg side, wide called.

1.1Back of a length and over middle, gets extra bounce and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi manages to keep it down just to the leg side.

It will be the tall, lanky Protea, Marco Jansen, to operate from the far end.

0.6FOUR! Oh, streaky now, but 22 off the first over of the chase and RR are off to a flier. Pitched up in the channel, Jaiswal throws his hands at it and gets an outside edge through first slip, which was just removed, and the ball rolls into the deep third fence.

0.5SIX! Wow, this is carnage! Fuller in length, darted onto the legs, Yashasvi Jaiswal picks it up and flicks it aerially over deep square leg for a biggie now. 18 already off the first over.

0.4FOUR! This is delightful from Yashasvi Jaiswal. Banged in on a hard length around off, Jaiswal shuffles past the off stump and plays the lap shot, off the handle of the bat and over the keeper for a boundary.

0.3FOUR! Up and over! Length ball outside off, Jaiswal with an attempted step-hit, doesn't time it perfectly but manages to smash it over mid off for another boundary.

0.2Good length, angled onto middle and leg, but straightening down the line, Jaiswal plays it back to the bowler.

0.1FOUR! Yashasvi Jaiswal starts aggressively! Back of a length, around middle, Jaiswal takes a step forward and smacks the pull flat over mid-wicket and picks up a boundary off the very first ball.
