The renewable energy firm Servotech Renewable Power System on Monday said it has entered India’s electric three-wheeler segment, marking its foray into battery solutions for the category and expanding its clean mobility portfolio beyond solar and EV charging.
The company said it has launched SULTAN, a lithium-ion battery developed for electric three-wheelers, along with Zest, a dedicated battery charger aimed at improving charging efficiency and vehicle uptime for original equipment manufacturers, dealers and distributors.
It also introduced Voltie, a 2-kilowatt on-grid solar inverter for residential and small commercial applications, it added.
The company said the electric three-wheeler segment is among the fastest-growing categories within electric mobility, driven by urbanisation, rising last-mile delivery demand and policy support.
Shares of the company saw profit booking after the announcement and settled at Rs 78.60 apiece on Monday, down 1.73 percent.
The tech-enabled EV charging and solar solutions provider earlier secured a rooftop solar project of about Rs 74 crore under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana.
The project was awarded by the New and Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Ltd (NREDCAP), the company said in a statement.
