Audio series platform Pocket FM on February 17 announced that its cumulative creator-driven revenue on the platform have crossed Rs 300 crore and are on track to reach Rs 1,000 crore by the end of 2026.

The top 10 percent of the company's monetised creators have collectively earned more than Rs 50 crore in 2025, the company stated.

It further revealed that more than 20 percent of creators now earn over Rs 1 lakh per month and the top 1 percent earn more than Rs 50 lakh on an annual basis.

Pocket FM claimed that more than 300,000 creators from across the country have used the company's AI capabilities to publish their first stories on the platform in the past year. With these AI capabilities, the company hopes to attract 1 million creators to the platform by 2026.

“Pocket FM’s AI Suite reimagines the process as an AI-powered writers’ room built for serialised fiction," said Prateek Dixit, Co-founder – Product, Tech and AI at Pocket FM.

Dixit noted that the Planner Agent designs long-term arcs and character journeys, the Context Agent safeguards narrative continuity across episodes, and the Drama Agent refines pacing, tension, and cliffhangers.

"Together, in a continuous loop of planning, drafting, and refinement, these agents enable creators to build cohesive, long-form stories while preserving creative ownership and significantly reducing execution complexity," he said.

Last month, Pocket FM hired former Meta AI scientist Vasu Sharma as Head of AI to accelerate its goal of becoming an artificial intelligence-led entertainment studio.

Sharma is expected to play a crucial role in developing the company's fiction-writing models, building creator-first AI tools, and scaling high-quality AI-assisted production workflows while maintaining a human-first ethos, Dixit told Moneycontrol in an interview last month.

“Our vision is clear. Creativity remains human, and Pocket FM’s AI Suite is designed to remove barriers to bringing that creativity to life," said Pocket FM CEO Rohan Nayak “A creator from anywhere in India can now create professional-quality content and reach audiences at scale without traditional barriers.”

Pocket FM also plans to ramp up its content localisation efforts for other markets such as the United States and Europe. It aims to adapt 50 creator-led Indian IPs for audiences in these markets in 2026.

"We always knew Indian stories had global potential. The constraint was infrastructure,” added Dixit. “Our AI stack fundamentally re-architects how content is localised and scaled."

Dixit said the company uses proprietary multilingual large language models to handle contextual translation and narrative restructuring. "Our models are trained on cross-cultural storytelling patterns so they adapt not just words, but references, pacing, and emotional cadence for each market" he said.

Started by Dixit, Rohan Nayak and Nishanth KS, Pocket Entertainment was last valued at $750 million when it raised $103 million in March 2024. It has raised $196.5 million to date.

The platform claims to have over 250 million listeners who on average spend more than 125 minutes a day.
