Alibaba-backed Antfin Singapore Holding Pte Ltd is likely to sell its entire stake in Eternal, the parent of Zomato, for Rs 5,375 crore through block deal, reported CNBC-Awaaz citing sources. The channel reported that Antfin will sell 18.84 crore shares of the delivery tech company and floor price has been fixed at Rs 285 apiece.
The company has entered into a Business Transfer Agreement (BTA) with its subsidiary, Kalyani Strategic Systems (KSSL), for the transfer of its defence business to KSSL for Rs 453.3 crore. Additionally, the company and KSSL have entered into an Intellectual Property Rights Licensing Agreement.
The company has executed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with GAIL (India) to jointly participate in copper and critical minerals block auctions, and to develop and operationalise blocks for exploration, mining, and processing of minerals.
Following RBI approval, the microfinance institution has announced the appointment of Ganesh Narayanan as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) for a period of five years. Udaya Kumar Hebbar has been appointed as Non-Executive (Nominee) Director, effective August 5.
Bulk Deals
Envestcom Holding RSC has offloaded a total of 2.19 crore shares in the Adani Group company (equivalent to a 1.83% stake) at Rs 790 per share, amounting to Rs 1,736.7 crore. Its shareholding in the company stood at 2.68% at the end of the June quarter.
Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund has acquired an additional 10.7 lakh shares (equivalent to a 0.55% stake) at Rs 2,919.02 per share, amounting to Rs 312.3 crore.
BofA Securities Europe SA has offloaded 2.6 lakh shares in the MSME lender at Rs 125.01 per share.
ACM Global Fund VCC has acquired 1.38 lakh shares in the microfinance institution at Rs 9.95 per share.
Wallfort PMS & Advisory Services LLP has sold 1.2 lakh shares in MVK at Rs 250.05 per share. However, Tushar Bherulal Tepan has purchased 84,000 shares at Rs 250.04 per share, and Nikesh Agro Farms and Infrastructure has acquired 99,600 shares at Rs 253.80 per share.
Block Deals
Promoters Deepak Agarwal and Shiv Ratan Agarwal have sold 25 lakh shares (0.99% stake) in the company to institutional investors including ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company, Tata Mutual Fund, HDFC Life Insurance Company, Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund, and Alphamine Absolute Return Fund at Rs 732 per share.
