Ruby QC Investment Holdings exits Akums Drugs, sells entire 4.6% stake to ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund

Ruby QC Investment Holdings exited Akums Drugs and Pharmaceuticals by selling entire 4.62 percent shareholding in the company via open market transactions on December 22.

The stock rallied 3.73 percent to Rs 443.15 on Monday, extending upward journey for third consecutive session and trading above the upper Bollinger bands.

Ruby QC Investment Holdings Pte sold all the 72.78 lakh shares (equivalent to 4.62 percent of paid-up equity) in Akums Drugs for Rs 311.5 crore, to ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, as per the bulk deals data published by exchanges.

The 4.62 percent shares were exchanged at a price of Rs 428 per share.

The exchange of 2.6 percent units has also seen in National Highways Infra Trust, the infrastructure investment trust set up by the National Highways Authority of India in 2020.

Azim Premji-backed Prazim Trading and Investment Company has acquired 5.06 crore units (i.e 2.6 percent of total outstanding units) in National Highways Infra Trust for Rs 754.24 crore at Rs 149.06 per unit, from Vidyaniti LLP.

Vidyaniti, one of the top five unitholders, held 4.64 percent stake in National Highways Infra Trust as of September 2025. National Highways Infra Trust units traded at Rs 149 on the NSE, up 0.57 percent.

Meanwhile, RRS Family Trust has acquired 1.4 lakh shares in Modis Navnirman for Rs 4.83 crore at Rs 345 per share, however, Aegis Investment Fund sold 2.37 lakh shares for Rs 8.19 crore at same price.

The brisk action was also seen in Shubhshree Biofuels Energy, and TBI Corn. Jinendra Kumar Jain has bought 26,700 shares in Shubhshree Biofuels Energy for Rs 98.02 lakh at Rs 367.15 per share, however, Next Orbit Ventures Fund sold 27,000 shares for Rs 99.1 lakh at Rs 367.21 per share.

Jinendra Kumar Jain also picked up 1.2 lakh shares in TBI Corn for Rs 98.34 lakh at Rs 81.95 per share, from Next Orbit Ventures Fund.

Davangere Sugar Company was also in focus, falling sharply by 19.5 percent to Rs 3.55 after a day of 9.43 percent rally. 3 Sigma Global Fund has acquired 1 crore shares in the company for Rs 4.1 crore at Rs 4.1 per share, Craft Emerging Market Fund through Elite Capital Fund picked up 2 crore shares for Rs 8.2 crore at same price, and Beacon Stone Capital 5 crore shares for Rs 19.6 crore at Rs 3.92 per share.

On other side, Metasoni Alloys sold 1.05 crore shares in Davangere Sugar for Rs 4.15 crore at Rs 3.96 per share, Trade Corner 2.75 crore shares for Rs 11.05 crore at Rs 4.02 per share, and Ascent Wealth sold 3.2 crore shares for Rs 12.33 crore at Rs 3.85 per share.

Arihant Capital Markets have net sold 3.87 crore shares in Davangere Sugar for Rs 15.2 crore at Rs 3.93 per share.
