ICICI Prudential AMC delivers second-best returns among over Rs 10,000-crore IPOs of 2025

ICICI Prudential AMC has become the second-best mega IPO of 2025 in terms of returns, after listing at a premium of more than 20 percent over the IPO price on December 19.

The shares of the company listed at Rs 2,600 apiece on the NSE on Friday. After LG Electronics, the IPO of ICICI Prudential AMC has delivered the highest returns among all issues launched this year so far to raise more than Rs 10,000 crore.

LG Electronics tops list:

LG Electronics continues to the top the list of best-performing mega IPOs of this year, after its shares debuted with a premium of 50 percent over the IPO price at Rs 1,710.1 apiece on the NSE in October this year.

This came after its initial public offering (IPO) of the Indian arm of the Korean electronics major was subscribed more than 54 times its offer size, also making it the most-bid-for billion-dollar issue since 2008.

HDB Financial Services, Tata Capital IPOs also on list:

The list of mega IPO listings this year so far also includes Tata Capital and HDB Financial Services. HDB Financial Services shares debuted with around 13 percent premium over the IPO price at Rs 835 apiece in July this year. This came after the Rs 12,500-crore issue of the subsidiary of HDFC Bank was subscribed 16.69 times its offer size.

Tata Capital shares had made a tepid stock market debut on October 13, listing with a premium of a little over 1 percent over the IPO price at Rs 330 apiece on NSE. The Tata Group-company’s IPO was subscribed nearly 2 times its offer size between October 6 and October 8.
