
HDFC Mutual Fund has sold 2.4 percent equity stake in media company TV Today Network via open market transactions on January 7, while Kedia Securities offloaded 0.87 percent shares in Mangalam Drugs and Organics.
TV Today Network shares rallied 2.4 percent to Rs 142.34 amid high volumes on the NSE, but overall, it has been range-bound for the past two weeks.
HDFC Mutual Fund sold 14.5 lakh shares (equivalent to 2.43 percent of paid-up equity) in TV Today at Rs 138 per share, for Rs 20.01 crore. However, Wealth Guardian acquired 3.6 lakh shares (0.6 percent stake) in TV Today at Rs 137.99 per share for Rs 4.96 crore.
HDFC Asset Management Company through its HDFC Small Cap Fund had held 3.03 percent shares in media company as of December 2025.
Meanwhile, Kedia Securities, owned by ace investor Vijay Kedia, sold 1.37 lakh shares in Mangalam Drugs and Organics at Rs 35.09 per share for Rs 48.35 lakh.
Along with him, Neo Apex Venture offloaded 80,000 shares in Mangalam Drugs at Rs 34.44 per share for Rs 27.55 lakh, Epitome Trading and Investments 1.2 lakh shares at Rs 34.9 per share for Rs 41.88 lakh and Multiplier Share & Stock Advisors 1.25 lakh shares at same price for Rs 43.62 lakh.
Mangalam Drugs shares continued to see buying interest, consistently hitting 5 percent upper circuit since December 29. It surged over 47 percent in last eight consecutive sessions.
