NSE to exclude Punj Lloyd, Opto Circuits, GSPL from F&O

New contracts for new expiry months in Punj Lloyd (up 1.25 percent), Chambal Fertiliser (down 0.15 percent), Opto Circuits (up 1 percent), Gujarat State Petronet (up 0.4 percent) and Shree Renuka Sugars (up 1.86 percent) will not be issued on expiry of existing contract months, says NSE in its circular.

    The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) has decided to exclude five securities from the futures & options (F&O) segment with effect from November 1, 2013.


    Hence, the new contracts for new expiry months in Punj Lloyd (up 1.25 percent), Chambal Fertiliser (down 0.15 percent), Opto Circuits (up 1 percent), Gujarat State Petronet (up 0.4 percent) and Shree Renuka Sugars (up 1.86 percent) will not be issued on expiry of existing contract months, says NSE in its circular.


    The exchange, however, says that the existing unexpired contracts of expiry months August 2013, September 2013 and October 2013 would continue to be available for trading till their respective expiry and new strikes would also be introduced in the existing contract months.
