While on her getaway, the actress watched Maharaja, featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Anurag Kashyap, and shared her thoughts on the film. Katrina's most recent release was Merry Christmas, in which she starred alongside Vijay Sethupathi. Their on-screen chemistry in the film was widely praised by audiences.

Katrina Kaif recently took to Instagram Stories to share her review of Maharaja, a Tamil thriller starring Vijay Sethupathi and directed by Nithilan Swaminathan. Alongside the film's poster, Katrina penned a brief but glowing review, describing it as “incredible storytelling.” She tagged her Merry Christmas co-star Vijay Sethupathi, as well as director Anurag Kashyap and Nithilan Swaminathan.

The film, which also features Mamta Mohandas, Natarajan Subramaniam, Abhirami Gopikumar, Singampuli, and Aruldoss, was released on June 14, 2024. The script was co-written by Nithilan Swaminathan and Raam Murali.

On a different note, Katrina had recently traveled to an award-winning medical health resort in Austria for a much-needed break. She described the experience as both peaceful and rejuvenating, and shared her sense of relaxation and renewed energy with her followers on Instagram.
