Cash-strapped Jet Airways is in discussions with over 15 companies to find alternate employment for the airline's employees, according to a report by The Economic Times.
Three executives from the Jet Airways’ top management have quit, and two others are on leave, the report said.
The company, which has around 20,000 employees, has not paid salaries since January. The airline also said it did not have funds to pay the premium on the staff’s mediclaim policies.
Jet Airways’ Chief People Officer Rahul Taneja has been talking to rival airlines and ecommerce companies, asking them to hire the airline’s staff, especially the cabin crew, the report said.
Taneja has spoken to Vistara, SpiceJet, and Amazon, sources told the paper.
Moneycontrol could not independently verify the news.
Jet Airways has not yet responded to a request for comment by The Economic Times.

The human resources (HR) team of Jet Airways is preparing a database of employees' profiles and sharing it with potential employers, the report added.
SpiceJet has hired 1,000 employees while Air India is hiring around 250 pilots and cabin crew, the report said.
Vistara is hiring around 500 staff – 100 pilots and 400 cabin crew – mostly from Jet Airways, according to a PTI report citing sources.
Jet Airways has been struggling to find an investor for several months and temporarily suspended all operations on April 17.
The airline’s staff held a peaceful protest on May 1, Labour Day, asking the government to help save the airline.
