These influence the way they treat themselves and others around them.

6 phrases every child should use daily

Here are 6 phrases you should encourage them to use at least once daily.

Thank you

Expressing gratitude makes a day feel more fulfilling, and children realise everything they are gifted with, be it the love of their family, friends, or material comforts. Children who learn to say “thank you” have more empathy, better friendships, and an abundant mindset.

I love you

It is one of the most affectionate phrases to teach your children. They should learn to say ‘I love you’ not only to those around them but also to themselves. This makes them appreciate the presence of family and friends around them. It brings joy and gives them a sense of belonging and emotional security.

I forgive you

Carrying a grudge against friends, family, or even themselves can ruin a day emotionally. So, it’s important to teach children to forgive themselves and others for their mistakes.
