By adopting simple but effective skincare practices, like exfoliating, moisturising, and using products that boost hydration, you can help your skin look its best

A well-planned beauty routine not only boosts your natural glow but also prepares your skin for the busy days ahead, says Namika Kant, Technical Expert at Envi Salons, Mumbai. “This preparation ensures that your skin stays beautiful and is protected from the stress and demands of the festive season.”

Kant suggests a six-step regimen to help you achieve radiant skin for the festivities:

  • Hydrating masks: Use hydrating masks infused with ingredients like hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, ceramides, glycerin, etc. These help replenish moisture, leaving your skin plump and dewy. Opt for a professional hydration treatment like a hydra facial, which deeply infuses moisture into the skin.

  • Gentle exfoliation: Exfoliating helps remove dead skin cells and boosts skin renewal, ensuring a fresh, glowing look. At a salon, you can opt for a microdermabrasion session that helps exfoliate deeply, thus smoothing the skin and enhancing its glow. To maintain the effects of the salon treatment at home, use a mild exfoliant with fine granules or an enzyme-based exfoliator. Use it once or twice a week, depending on your skin type, to maintain a smooth texture.
