The IPL fever is on full-swing and cricketers are the subject of discussion. While their fitness is enviable, most of them are gourmands and give-in to their favourite dishes.

Rishabh Pant loves his chhole bhature and apart from this north Indian staple, he enjoys dosa with podi. Mahi aka MS Dhoni of Chennai Super Kings, is known to be a foodie. Gajar ka halwa is his weakness, according to him, when it comes to sweets, but butter chicken tops the list of his go-to dishes.

Mumbai ka mulga Ajinkya Rahane of Chennai Super Kings cannot stay away from aamras puri during summer months. Shreyas Iyer of KKR is otherwise particular about his diet, but on cheat days, he indulges in a pomfret poached in coconut milk.

KL Rahul of Lucknow Super Giants digs gol gappas and pops in some as and when schedules permit. Else, he is a dosa lover and can relish this for any meal.

If you’re after the favourite dishes of your favourite cricketers here’s where to head:

Chole Bhature: Nand di Hatti in Sardar Bazaar Delhi. This place is also Virat Kohli’s favourite. In Mumbai, people enjoy the one at Kailash Parbat.

Gajar ka Halwa: The old-timer Chaina Ram in Chandni Chowk, a popular Sindhi Sweet shop in Delhi or Bikanerwla Sweets, Gurgaon.

When it comes to dosa, across India there are several places, but Ramashray in Mumbai, Matunga Café in Mumbai are hugely sought after and in Chennai, Mathsya, Woodlands, are preferred restaurants and in Delhi, Sagar Ratna and Sarvana Bhawan top the charts.

For Aamras puri, head to Soham in Mumbai and Aaswad, Dadar.

If butter chicken is what you’re seeking, Daryaganj Restaurant is your best bet in Delhi and, perhaps, Goila Butter Chicken or Pritam da Dhaba in Dadar, Mumbai.
