Both Rashmika and Vijay wore designer Falguni Shane Peacock. While Rashmika wore a timeless sharara set in blingy silver colour. Vijay, on the other hand, wore a royal blue front-open sherwani featuring silver hand embroidery with a pair of matching bottoms in satin. Complementing each other, both of them wore capes too, adding a touch of drama and regality to their overall looks.
One thing is clear and that is that Vijay loves jewellery and it suits him wonderfully too. For the sangeet look, he wore a beautiful emerald necklace. Rashmika too wore a studded necklace, matchings set of earrings and bracelets.
She tied her hair up in a bun to dance the night away surrounded by her loved ones without a care in the world. Expressing her happiness, Rashmika wrote, "It was really the most fun night ever!! From Vijju and I wanting to surprise each other.. to family wanting to surprise us..to being fully excited and surprised to see our families dance so freely and so so well! ❤️" The actor also wrote that even though her dress was heavy, she was in it the entire night and had a gala time.
The duo got married this year on February 26 in Udaipur's ITC Mementos surrounded by family and friends. On the day of their wedding, they chose to wear Anamika Khanna's creations. Their outfits created a buzz and became a conversation starter in a way.
