Through your sartorial choices, you can indeed convey a lot. This adage is true and actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas recently proved it too. For the afterparty of her movie The Bluff, the actor wore a saree with a modern twist in a yummy yellow colour. About her attire, she said it's an ode to Ercell Bodden, her character in The Bluff.

"Wearing this is an ode to Ercell Bodden, my character in The Bluff. In the opening of the film she appears with a dupatta over her head, a subtle but meaningful marker of identity and strength," she wrote on Instagram.

One look at her outfit and chances are you will take a double take, because it's not something you see everyday. It has an edge, an element of uniqueness and the pop of colour. A perfect pick for fusion wear indeed. Designed by Gaurav Gupta, Priyanka wrote on Instagram that the moment she saw this piece on runway last month, she called up the designer to hold it for her. "I love a saree. And when I saw this piece walk down the couture runway last month, it felt like a saree with a modern twist. We immediately called Gaurav and asked him to hold it for me," she wrote.

This creation of designer is named as 'Golden Arc'. It's a saffron-hued saree gown that was first presented as part of The Divine Androgyne Spring Summer '26 couture collection in Paris. Made from fluid chiffon fabric, what's flattering about it is its corseted structure that comes with a sculpted wrap bodice. Plus, the extended veil drape certainly lends drama and edge to this piece.

Again, to pull off this attire, one needs some dose of courage and flamboyance too. Who better than Priyanka could have done that? The actor kept her makeup and overall look minimal since she probably wanted her attire to do all the talking. No accessories, no jewels, and yet the actor completely slayed in the look. Her look bears testimony to the popular adage that 'less is more'.

For a striking contrast effect, Priyanka chose to wear pointed heels in a beautiful metallic colour. Of course, the saree does the perfect job of captivating everyone's attention, but it's also the Sunken Treasure Chest bag from designer Judith Leiber that proves to be a great conversation starter. Can you guess the price of the bag? Well, it's price is reportedly estimated around Rs 6.6 lakhs. The pearl and bead work, the craftsmanship and the uniqueness of the bag totally warrant the price, doesn't it?
