The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited applications for 493 vacancies across various posts in multiple ministries and departments under Advertisement No. 06/2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at upsconline.gov.in until 12 June 2025.

Posts and Departments

The recruitment drive includes vacancies for the following posts:

  • Legal Officer (Grade-I)
  • Operations Officer
  • Scientific Officer
  • Junior Research Officer
  • Junior Technical Officer
  • Research Officer
  • Assistant Legal Advisor
  • Specialist Grade III
  • Other related roles

These positions are spread across several departments, including the Ministry of Civil Aviation, the Ministry of External Affairs, and other government organisations.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on:

  • Online Examination
  • Group Discussion (if conducted)
  • Screening of Applications

Eligibility Criteria

The educational qualifications vary according to the post. For example:

Operations Officer:

Candidates must have one of the following qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Computer Science/Information Technology/Aeronautical/Electrical/Electronics)
  • Master’s Degree in Science (Electronics or Physics)
  • B.Sc Degree with Physics or Electronics as subjects

  3. Fill in basic details and click on “Preview and Create Account”.
  4. Use the registration number and password to log in again.
  5. Complete the remaining details in the form.
  6. Upload a passport-sized photograph and signature in the specified format.
  7. Review the form and pay the application fee.
  8. Submit and print the application form for future reference.
