UPSC NDA and CDS Recruitment 2025: Application deadline extended to June 20; link to apply here

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has extended the last date to apply for the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy (NDA & NA) Examination (II), 2025, and the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination (II), 2025. Interested candidates now have until 11.59 PM on 20 June 2025 to submit their applications online via the official UPSC website upsc.gov.in.

The original deadline was 17 June 2025. This extension gives eligible candidates another opportunity to apply for various posts under NDA, NA, and CDS.

Eligibility Criteria

Only unmarried male and female candidates born between 1 January 2007 and 1 January 2010 are eligible to apply. Selection will be through a written exam followed by an SSB interview, which includes intelligence and personality assessments.

The application fee is Rs 100 for general candidates. SC/ST candidates, women, and wards of JCOs/NCOs/ORs are exempted from the fee.

1. Visit the official website upsc.gov.in
2. Click on “Apply Online” under the Examination tab
3. Select the relevant exam (NDA/NA or CDS) and register
4. Upload required documents including a recent photograph and signature
5. Pay the application fee (if applicable), submit the form, and download the confirmation page
