Age Limit: Candidates must have been born between January 1, 2006, and July 1, 2009 (inclusive). The upper age limit at the time of enrolment must not exceed 21 years.
Educational Qualification
For Science Stream: Passed 10+2/Intermediate examination with Mathematics, Physics, and English, securing a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English individually.
For Other Streams: Passed 12th standard from a recognized board with 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.

Financial and Service Benefits
Selected Agniveers will be enrolled for a four-year service period with a competitive remuneration package:
Starting Salary: ₹30,000 per month in the first year, with increments rising to ₹40,000 per month by the fourth year.
Seva Nidhi Package: Upon completion of the four-year tenure, Agniveers will receive a tax-free 'Seva Nidhi' corpus of approximately ₹10.04 lakh, which includes accrued interest.
Career Progression: Based on merit, organisational requirements, and performance during the service period, up to 25% of Agniveers will be considered for enrolment into the IAF's permanent cadre.
Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria must act swiftly. The non-refundable application fee is ₹550 + 18% GST, payable online. The IAF has emphasised that no extensions will be granted beyond the published deadline.
