At 44, Kareena Kapoor Khan knows the importance of a good workout along with a healthy diet. The actress likes to switch up her game by following different routines, and recently, her trainer posted a video where she is seen doing a mix of exercises. However, this time, it left many netizens not very impressed.

Sharing the reel on Instagram, he wrote, “It’s that smile at the end—the one you get after hitting those little milestones. Strength isn’t just for the gym… it’s what gets you through everyday life. We truly appreciate the effort @kareenakapoorkhan puts into her training—inspiring so many women to chase their own goals.”

Kareena Kapoor’s Workout Session

Kareena’s workout included functional exercises, which are good for improving strength, stability, posture, and balance. It included:

  • Leg Rotations: Engage the core and improve balance, coordination, hip mobility, and blood circulation.

  • Leg Raises: Improve lower body strength and mobility, strengthen the core, and work best for abs.

  • Kettlebell Swings: Considered a full-body exercise, targeting the upper and lower back, glutes, and hamstrings. They help burn calories and are good for cardiovascular health.

  • Crunches: Great for your abdominal muscles, making them look more defined and sharper.

Internet Reacts

While some shared in the comments that Kareena is an inspiration to them, there were many who felt such rigorous exercises were not needed. One user wrote, “This workout looks as if it can cause injuries. You can still be gentle on your system yet remain actively strong and lean.” Another commented, “This workout is extremely injurious, such abnormal postures and more prone to injury. Stop glamourising this.” A user also shared, “We are trying to figure out how these exercises are functional & what exactly they are targeting.”

Kareena Kapoor’s Diet

Kareena attended the book launch of her nutritionist, Rujuta Diwekar, earlier this year, where she opened up about how she loves eating khichdi frequently with a dollop of ghee. She joked that her cook is rather tired of making her the same food for two weeks at a stretch.

In fact, her nutritionist also revealed what Kareena typically likes to have in a day.

Here’s what her meals look like:

  • Morning: A handful of dry fruits such as raisins, figs, or almonds as soon as she wakes up

  • Breakfast: Typically paratha or poha

  • Lunch: Dal and rice

  • Evening Snack: Cheese toast or a mango/mango milkshake (seasonal)
  • Dinner: Khichdi with ghee or pulao

Rujuta added that when Kareena is shooting, she prefers dal and rice on set. At home, she usually likes to have roti with sabzi.
