We all sweat — it’s a perfectly natural function that aids in helping the body control its temperature — but when it becomes pronounced, especially on your face, it can be uncomfortable, embarrassing and downright frustrating. Some people even experience facial sweating when it’s hot out, when they’re working out or under stress. Besides cosmetics, your sweat issues can affect work, daily activities and self-esteem, and may even result in skin problems including breakouts or irritation.

Medical treatments exist for these conditions (like hyperhidrosis), but not everyone wants a procedure or to take medication long-term. The good news is, it’s easy to find relief with simple remedies and home staples. Simple pantry staples can help you sweat less, stay fresher and feel more comfortable—naturally.

Dr Radhika Khanna, Consultant Dermatologist, ClearSkin Clinic, told Moneycontrol that taking small steps in daily routine at home can make a lot of difference. Just as aloe vera and cornstarch are great at soaking up sweat, there are many other remedies that can help you deal with this condition without any adverse effects. Simply with some household things, anyone can take control of heavy sweating and help skin breathe better without treadmill chemicals.
