Kalpana Raghavendar, a well-known playback singer from the Telugu film industry, is currently in critical condition after a suspected suicide attempt. She was found unconscious at her home in Hyderabad and was immediately rushed to the hospital.
Kalpana, who is the daughter of renowned singer TS Raghavendra, has been a significant part of the Indian music industry. She has worked on numerous songs and was also a judge on various music reality shows.
Additionally, she participated in Bigg Boss Telugu Season 1, which was hosted by Jr NTR. Some of her recent songs include “Kodi Parakura Kaalam,” “Penne Neeyum,” and “Thirupachi Arivaala.”
According to reports, the security staff at her apartment became suspicious when her door remained locked for two days. The residents’ association tried to contact her, but they received no response.
They eventually reached out to her husband, who was in Chennai at the time and unable to contact her either. This raised further concern, leading to her being found and taken to the hospital.

Currently, Kalpana is receiving medical treatment, and close friends and fellow singers, including Sunitha, have visited her at the hospital. However, they have not spoken to the press about her condition.
