Priyanka Chopra has risen to global fame, establishing herself as a successful actress, entrepreneur, and author. From winning Miss World to becoming a celebrated figure in Bollywood and making a mark in Hollywood, she has proven herself as one of the most accomplished celebrities.

Recently, an old interview clip resurfaced on social media, where Priyanka shared a shocking encounter she had with a director during the early years of her career.

In this video clip, as a guest at the Forbes Women's summit, Priyanka had spoken about one of her horrifying experiences with an Indian film director who specifically asked her stylist to make sure that her outfit reveals her "panties" during the song.

Recalling the incident, Priyanka stated, "There was this song in which, obviously I played the escort in the movie because that's what pretty girls do (laughs). I was supposed to be this escort and in this song I was supposed to be seductive towards this guy. I was very excited as it was one of my very first movies with a really big Indian actor and I was really excited about bringing in the aspect and human side of this escort. I remember this song and was speaking to the director, and I said would you speak to my stylist and explain to him what he wants in terms of clothes."

When director said clothes should be really short

Further continuing about the dehumanizing behaviour of the director who she did not name, the Citadel actress said, "I am standing right behind him, he is sitting on his chair in a really entitled way and he picks up the phone and he goes like 'listen people are coming into the movies to watch her when she shows her panties. So it needs to be really short, so that I can see her panties. People who are sitting upfront, they should be able to see her panties. And he said it like four times.'"

Priyanka then recalled how, after returning home, she decided not to continue with the film. Priyanka said she was just 19 at that time and upon her return, she told her mother that she will not go ahead with the movie. Priyanka said she had  shot for two days.

After working for two days, Priyanka revealed that she decided to leave the film and reimbursed the production company from her own pocket for the expenses they had incurred.
