Shahid Kapoor’s highly anticipated action thriller Deva, which was earlier set to release on February 14, 2025 is now ready to hit the theatres on a new date which has been recently announced by the makers. Deva will now release in theatres on January 31, 2025.

In this gripping film, Shahid portrays a sharp yet rebellious police officer, while Pooja Hegde takes on the role of a determined journalist. The story follows Shahid’s character as he delves into a complex investigation, uncovering layers of deception and betrayal that lead him down a dangerous path.

Directed by renowned Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrrews, Deva is produced by Zee Studios and Siddharth Roy Kapur. The film marks Shahid Kapoor's return to the big screen after nearly a year, and features standout performances by Pooja Hegde and Pavail Gulati. With its high-octane action, intense drama, and an engaging storyline, Deva promises to be a thrilling cinematic experience.

The production of Deva kicked off in October 2023, with principal photography set in Mumbai. This high-octane action thriller is a collaboration between Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films, with Siddharth Roy Kapur producing. The film features music by the talented duo Sachet-Parampara, while Jakes Bejoy has composed the score. Cinematographer Amit Roy and editor A. Sreekar Prasad ensure a visually captivating and tightly crafted narrative, with the energetic song sequences choreographed by Bosco Martis.

Filming for the action-packed thriller Deva officially concluded in September, with the final scenes being filmed in Mumbai.
