Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda’s Udaipur wedding was not just a visual spectacle of tradition and romance, it was also a grand culinary celebration. After tying the knot during an auspicious Telugu muhuratam on February 26, the couple hosted an elaborate feast that beautifully reflected their cultural roots.
Following the morning ceremony, guests were served a traditional South Indian spread laid out on banana leaves, staying true to Telugu wedding customs. According to multiple on-ground reports accessed by FilmyFigures, the menu featured over 25 dishes, blending flavours from Telangana-Andhra and Kodava cuisine.
From the Telangana-Andhra side, the spread reportedly included natukodi pulusu, a flavourful country chicken curry, along with Hyderabadi dum biryani that quickly became one of the highlights of the meal. Other favourites such as garelu, pappu, pachhi pulusu, gongura chutney and curd rice were also part of the carefully curated menu. The balance of spice, tang and comfort reflected the essence of traditional Telugu celebrations.
Honouring the Kodava heritage as well, the wedding menu featured specialities such as kadambuttu, which are soft rice dumplings typically paired with curries. Noolputtu and bamboo shoot curry were also reportedly served, offering guests a taste of authentic regional flavours. One of the most talked-about dishes was the Kodava pork curry, also known as pandi curry, a signature preparation known for its bold spices and distinct taste.

The dessert section was equally indulgent. Guests enjoyed Mysore pak, rasmalai, gulab jamun and traditional payasam, ensuring a sweet end to the elaborate feast. Throughout the celebration, coconut water and buttermilk were served to keep everyone refreshed in the Udaipur warmth.
The thoughtfully planned menu symbolised the coming together of two cultures through food. By combining Telangana-Andhra staples with Kodava specialities, Rashmika and Vijay ensured that their wedding feast represented both families with equal pride.
With breathtaking décor, heartfelt rituals and a lavish spread featuring Hyderabadi dum biryani, Mysore pak and more, the VIROSH wedding has become memorable not just for its visuals but also for its rich and meaningful culinary experience.
