Director Vivek Agnihotri has announced the much-anticipated release of his upcoming film, The Delhi Files. Originally conceptualized as a single story, the film has now been divided into two distinct parts. The first part, titled The Bengal Chapter, is set to hit the screens on August 15, 2025, making it the prime Independence Day release next year. The director shared this update through his social media handles, encouraging fans to mark their calendars for the big day.
Vivek Agnihotri, known for his critically acclaimed films The Kashmir Files and The Vaccine War, revealed that years of exhaustive research led to the creation of The Delhi Files. He expressed excitement in bringing The Bengal Chapter, a significant piece of history, to the audience and mentioned that the film unveils a gripping chapter that remains under-explored in Indian cinema.
