The Virosh wedding festivities continue to charm fans, and this time it was actor Ashika Rangnath who offered a colourful glimpse into Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda’s Haldi ceremony. Taking to social media, Ashika shared playful moments from the function, hinting that the traditional ritual felt more like an early Holi celebration.
Posting pictures and videos from the ceremony, Ashika captioned one of her stories, “Haldi or holi?!!!” as she showed herself covered in vibrant colours. In another update, she joked that Holi seemed to have arrived early. The visuals revealed guests smeared not just in turmeric but also in bright pinks, purples and yellows, turning the Haldi into a riot of festive hues.
The décor of the ceremony carried a cheerful, floral theme. Yellow and pink flowers dominated the venue, complementing the traditional essence of the ritual. Decorative elements included personalised touches with the names “Vijay” and “Rushie,” and a beautifully arranged stage for the bride and groom. A particularly adorable detail was a poster featuring a cartoon of Rashmika’s Cocker Spaniel Aura and Vijay’s Husky Storm riding together in a car with sunglasses on, symbolising their union.
Guests, dressed predominantly in shades of yellow and orange, fully embraced the celebratory mood. From candid laughter to playful colour smearing, the Haldi appeared to blend tradition with a Holi-style party vibe. With Holi around the corner, the timing only added to the festive atmosphere.
The Haldi function follows a series of joyful pre-wedding events in Udaipur. The couple previously hosted the Virosh Premier League, a cricket match with friends and family, and an energetic Sangeet ceremony. During the Sangeet, Vijay’s friends reportedly delivered spirited performances, and his mother gifted Rashmika heirloom bangles as a gesture of acceptance into the family.
